what is biology ?

Biology (from Greek bios "life" and logos, "discourse") is the science of life. It covers a part of the natural sciences and the natural history of living beings.As life comes in many different forms and at very different scales, biology extends from the molecular level to that of the cell and then the body, down to the level of the population and the ecosystem.
Science whose object is the study of living matter and living beings: reproduction (embryology, genetics), habitat, environment (ecology), behavior (ethology).
